1. One and a BIG thing I like about the website is simply the HOME page.

Its main/home page gives me alot of updates and links that just keep me clicking away, wanting to find out more. Below are pictures you will find on the home page.

You will find the lastest contests to win beauty products. Updates on new products and Latest Promotions in Singapore.

The pages load really fast too despite the animations and the advertisements around the website.

When you scroll down, you will find the latest blogs on beauty tips and more. A lot of information can be read off even without going on to the full details of the page!! That's why I say the main page has everything!! It's so convenient!

And.. There are so many links to the popular pages such as recommended brands.

2. Another reason to love Cozycot is the online Forum.

There are so many relevant and clear topics on beauty and Fashion. Plus, the threads are pretty much updated and pleasant to read.

Don't believe me?

Go google for any beauty advice or tips or promotions in Singapore and I bet the first few results will lead you back to Cozycot.com.

3. I just found this today. Do check out the search review!!

I am surprising at the range of product reviews they have it on the website. Really.

Firstly, the catogories are clear and the search results are not disappointing in numbers.

Secondly, the reviews are rather accurate, based on my personal opinion. Pages of the different items also display the number of people who want them in their wishlist, so as to allow others to know which products are popular.

Lastly, the pages load FAST!! Tell me that the last thing people every want is a slow webpage.

4. Lastly.. Why do I love to visit Cozycot.com? IT'S LOCAL! All that it talks about relates much to Singapore. This is unlike other fashion pages where the promotions can only be found in the States. Generally proper English is used in the forums. And the content of the webpage, including the forums, are very specific to Beauty or Fashion topics.

Finally, Direct China-Taiwan flights begin!

From BBC news.

The first regular direct flight from mainland China to Taiwan for nearly 60 years has landed at Taipei's airport.

Ties between Taipei and Beijing have improved since Taiwan elected a new President, Ma Ying-jeou, in May. China considers Taiwan a breakaway province and in the past has threatened force to reunite it with the mainland.

The China Southern Airlines flight, from the southern city of Guangzhou, is the first of 36 flights to be launched this weekend. It carried around 250 passengers, including 100 tourists from the mainland, and was met with a traditional lion dance and a water sprinkling ceremony.

The first arrivals are among more than 600 Chinese tourists travelling to Taiwan on week-long package trips. They are all being given the red carpet treatment, with special receptions, dinners and entertainment programmes.

While many Taiwanese are excited by the expected influx of Chinese tourists, others are more wary - citing concerns about rude behaviour, cheap spending habits and the potential for political disputes, says the BBC's Caroline Gluck in Taipei.

(------ erm this line does not sound right. Are you stereotyping the people from China? But frankly speaking, based on my experiences with the Chinese, this statement does hold true meaning to certain extent.)

The weekend passenger flights will begin on 4 July and there will be 36 flights each week, with China and Taiwan operating 18 flights each.

I'm too sian to blog nowadays.
OK it's 2008.
Everything is fine so far, though i started my 2008 feeling so sick like hell! Stomachache, diahhorea, ulcer on my gums, sorethroat and headaches, and a suspected wisdom teeth.. You name it.
School has started. I like the modules this sem, except for the night classes we have. Come on, we're not part-time students!!
Hmm i got to know Sarina, the cabin crew. It's interesting how we met. It's all about LAG in the airport. I'm very happy to know a new japanese friend like her!
I've coloured my hair on the 18th.. Like FINALLY!! I like it, but it'll be better if it's slightly lighter though. But ok la. It looks natural. Will post a photo next time!
And CNY is coming.. I sort of got my new year clothes le, but it's nothing special. I might wear my old clothes lo, no big dealll. Who knows right? haha.

My new year resolution?? hmm.
1. Tidy my table (This has been my new yr's resolution for years already n has never been done!!)
2. Complete my 2.4km in 12min once more!

Dear blog and everyone reading my blog,

I wonder what I have been busying with. I'm still working parttime and there is no school.

haha my dear baby cousin had been staying at my house for the past 1 month. Now that she has gone back home, there seems to be something missing in my house lo. haha. Eveytime i can hear her calling my name before I am even out of bed and whenever I returned from work. So cute la!! My mum claims she's dam spoilt by her mother already, which i truelt agree lo. Cry abit then want people to sayang her liao..

but still, we miss her:)

On the 8th dec, me and my family went for a vacation for the first time in 10 yrs!! The previous one was just a cruise trip lo.. haha ok. We just went into the transit area in Terminal 3. Well, it's nice, but everything was under renovation that there isnt much to see. Even the small sofas were still wrapped up with plastics and with a sign saying, "If spoilt, fine $1000".

Oh but we went into the gate holdroom though.. My mum finally get to see what it looks like inside. Though it was her first time, she told me actually there is nothing much to see inside. True what!

Many things happened.
But can also say nothing much happened these few weeks.
All i know is that there're so many assignments dued on the 15th and exams on the next week!! And I know i havent been working hard enough..
But i have a new thought recently, or rather a new motivation.
Life isnt boring afterall, there're so much things for me to do. I want to end this year meaningfully.

Yea! Dear is coming back le. Finally! And way to go A380! I cant wait to step inside the aircraft.
Yes! I can finally upload photos onto my com.. Finally i can use my poddy..

Why am i doing nothing about my assignments?

Today, i've got a huge hole in my Pocket. It's not the amount spent that is causing the pain in my heart.
It is when i look at the amount left in my account, ... ... ... ... ... OMG!
Luckily i'm still working..

Now for my assignments. All i can say is that i'm rather hopeless.
There is so many of them dued few days time and i've not even read the questions yet!! It's not just writing a report , i mean reports with a 'S', i need to prepare presentations toooooo!
i'm not working this week, but somehow i didnt manage to do anything at all from yesterday to today lor. which really defeats the purpose of not working..
Well, i did 1 thing today though! I dyed my hair blue!! Well, i was supposed to get it done months ago.. So it's an accomplishment for me already. Too bad it's not very obvious that i even dyed my hair lo..
Yes. And i spent all my savings today..
Dont remind me..

Here is a recap of what i have done this week:

Mon :- Fetch WL from airport.
Tues :- Watched S-pop concert with Daisy. It's the longest one i've ever attended seh!! From 7pm to 2am!! I
even end up having a sore throat and headache.
Wed :- Finished my Sun Tsu's presentation
Thurs :- Sent WL off to taipei. Met my patricia and huilee at the check-in counter (my long lost buddy at work).
Fri :- Nothing
Sat (today) :- Nothing, except spending all my savings away.
Sun (tmr) :- Gonna check out the new geeks i've bought! Probably get started woth my 4 assignments.. Ah! i've
only got 1 week to do them!

I was working from 0430 to 1330 today.
And guess who did i meet at my last DEP flight?

I met, not just saw, i met mr gary tan!! My ex-secondary school vice principal of Crescent Girls's School!!
He was travelling on SQ958/ 02oct07 / SINCGK. With other two person, who i assume to be his international students. He told me he had quitted his teaching career and is now involved in some international stuff in Jarkata.. Pity isn't it?
He was quite a popular teacher cum Vice-principal at my time in school. I guessed he gained his repect well among Crescentians!! Including me!!!
All the best for him!!
Nice talking to him.. haha. He didnt change abit lor. Still as round. Oops. And cute. And gentlemanly.. haha.

Ahh!! got to do my speech for tomorrow!! Tmr is presentation day!!

Wah! yesterday was fun of excitment! Bee and I and many of my taiwanese friends were so hyper at work! haha.
I happened to see Wang Leehong yesterday at the gate itself. Didnt managed to go inside cos the manager is behind him. Take photos also difficult lor.. SO we just waved at him.
Wah seh! He's my favourite artiste of all times lo.. Cute neh.. But i wondered who are the 2 people with him. Dont look like people from his company. haha friends?
He should be in US by now..

Well it can be good cos i'll be abke to relax and enjoy once i've handed the assignment up.
Not just writing, i have to do lots of research too. Internet is easy, but imagine i have to speed read my book and also do my 2000word essay.
But then, i have to admit i enjoy doing this. Just that i regret not starting ealier. haha..

to dear, i doubt i'll work on 7th cos it's a wed. I work wkends.. But i'll be there de. Oh i have to do all the lit stuff cos it's under the Arts side. I'm also doing other management projects lor..

I am now happy with the switch from science to art faculty.
I am, i still cant imagine myself working in a lab, or mugging at science books, going to library to research on molecules and atoms, and having to learn stuffs about "when 'x' tends to infinity, something someth becomes zero"..
Now i am enjoying going to esplanade to look for books on ballet. Very interesting as to how ballet can be linked to Roman histroy, courts, French revolution...
Well, actually is because i have to do a write-up of around 2000 words on ballet. You think i so hardworking ah!! haha.
Yeah! Weilian is coming back and i hope i can meet him in the airport soon!! Wang LeeHong will be in singapore too! Well i heard from some officer that he's taking the flight on 27th sep. Not sure if true. Meiqing, rmb our mission ah.. haha.

OK. i have to finish up my projects le.. Blog another day then.
Wah i nowadays i am having more inspiration and is seeing some light in my life le..

Too many projects, too many readings and too many slacking time.
I am in trouble now.
It seems like I have to do last minute work..

Funny enough. I feel like I am doing literature course!!
Wah! Come on! I thought i've given up on literature since sec 1??
I cant believe in..

As for my class, there is simply too many drama that i dont want to talk about it in my blog now.
But i must make it clear that I dont dislike them.
Just that our characters are all so different!!

But i am really thankful that I have made good friends there.

Ooo i went out with jolyn yesterday after shau tong's boring boring and redundant class!!
It's like repeating GP lesson!
Like how to write thesis statement, what to write for introduction etc.
haha. Me and jolyn spent like an hour in a $2 shop and was so fascinated by the sizes of the boxes, the spoons and esp the EGG!!

Then just today, my dad almost got cheated by someone from hongkong!
They called my dad this morning from hongkong.
She told him that they're frm this travel agency, which has a branch in malaysia..
She said that my dad has won S$20000 dollars, 2nd prize from a luck draw..
My dad believed her as he did travel to malaysia this year through agent.

Then after an hour long of exchanging details through phone...
She said we can get the money in our bank account by 1pm today..

Well, my dad suspected that she's a scam but didnt really bother much cos his account only has 20 bucks ma. Cheat that 20 bucks if she wanna hack his account lor!! haha.
ya. then she asked us to transfer 4000 sing dollars to them before we can officially claim the prize..

Siao!! Want to cheat people money also don't know how to come up with a more brilliant plan! So lousy la.. So obvious it's a scam liao..
Well, but the lady sort of scolded my dad when he said he doesnt want to claim the so-called 'prize' le. I ask my dad to scold back lor..

Dumb.

ok. As said, i didnt blogged for a very long time. A couple of things happened this week.

Firstly, I am feeling much better already! After thinking about where to go and what to do next time for like how many months, I am now more clear. Well, at least there are people who are supportive of me taking up Arts management.

Haha. But i still cant imagine myself as an Arts manager though.

I'm now back on track. My knees are not hurting that much now. (well, i should be paid off after resting for a year plus..)
I can run more now. Hopefully by this year, I can get back to what I am in JC1.
I like the feeling of being an athelete!!

I have made many friends in Lasalle. I got a good friend now. Dont know why? I just like to talk about everything with her. Thanks Emilia.. Kent and readi are nice people too.

But there are too many types of people in our class!! haha. It should be a good thing, i suppose.
Lets see...
There are a few like chow -- Very classy and confident and articulate.
There are some who are like so successful -- some already involved in big projects and some in arts companies already!!
There are people who have such clear mind as to where they are going.
Sometimes I wonder If they are over-confident.
And there are people who are free-lance actors, artists and designers!!

And.. They all talk Like THaT!! (american accent).
And they look like rich kids.. haha but i shall ignore this bit.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why i come to lasalle. More 'weird' people? haha.
More international, to be more exact..

Another thing that happened this week..
I feel so happy seeingg that ziwei says she is happy when she received my message!! yeah!
hehe. I also accidentally send her a wrong sms, asking her to meet for lunch.

What makes me so happy again?
I am back at work!!! I reported to work last sunday 0730 to 1630.
I am expecting to work again this weekend. I am so excited to see all my friends at work again lor!

My dad is not giving any cent at all! So I have to feed myself lo, even though sch started le..
I sometimes have to even give them money la!!
No work, how can?? I have plans to get laptop too lor.. And my flute leh?
Luckily still have tuition to support me. hee. thankfully.

One Very important thing that makes me especially happy yesterday till now. And maybe until next month!! haha.. Or even until end of the year..

I heard his new song on taiwan radio yesterday night with many other blue angels!
The album is not out yet in taiwan, but it is shou bo on taiwan radio on 22aug at 9.21pm!!
It is so dam nice.. So touching.. So power.. Sound is different a little, but definitely nicer!
I am not being baised here k? wait till you hear it yourself.

Well, I have recorded it down yesterday on my phone. Have heard it like over 20 times since yester-night.. I hear until i fell asleep.. haha.

2nd day of school (today): Made many friends today! Olivia, rach, desmond, and 2 of them whom i have
forgotten their names *sorry*. Schedule is in a mess, but great lecturer John is.

Today i watched Perfect Stranger with jolyn. Haha simply to get more free tickets!
haha we both didnt know what we were watching at first. Just watch for the sake of free tickets lor..
We thought it's some lovy-dovy movie, then halffway through we thought it's a mystery show with bit of scary parts here and there.
Wah! Now hungry ghost festival leh..Cannot watch horror movies lor.. hah.
Turned out that the whole movie is great!
Funny at times, good and unexpected ending, good actors and actress and i think the storyline is not bad.
Well, except for the mistake that the lead actress made. But it wasnt her fault.
The story wants her to make this mistake, which causes her boss to find out that she has been spying on him.
But nevertheless, good movie.
Money well spent.

I am so unsure of myself

Before today, I told myself I am very happy, that I am truely happy about the things around me. My friends, my family and my school.

But all the sudden, I think I have choosen the wrong course.

Today is my Dad's birthday. I wanted to buy something for him, but I didnt. Guess why? I dont know.. I just suddenly feel like being cold blooded. I also dont know why.. Not that I feel happier this way.

I am just wondering why is that some people who are cold and quiet, but can be so likeable to people too.
Some people just look good and hav no substance inside, yet people will come flocking to them.
Some people just know how to be up there, just know how to go further than others of the same age, without even have to study. While there are people down here struggling to get up, trying to get up, or if not,
take a much longer time to reach the same level as that person, who in fact, has gone further than you think.

I want to be a useful person, that's what I want to be.

Previously, I always thought there is no point being smart and all.. No point working hard to be smart.
And so, I have decided to drop.
Ok. Now that I have failed my GP and I cant go to uni.
I should be happy actually.. Because I can now go to Lasalle and be and Arts student. Cool..

But the problem now is, Arts student does not equals to Useful person..

Science is supposed to be my best area of studies. I could have studied stuff like medicine..
Then i could be a doctor or something. Saving lives and all :) Not bad an idea.

F1 racing

I never know watching F1 racing can be so exciting!!
Last night, I just witness the Championship of Spain's Fernando Alonso in European Grand Prix. He drove a McLaren and he won the F lor..
Very interesting Match.
Throughout the race, the rain kept pouring with stops here and there.

Within the first half an hour of the race, only 4 laps out of 60 laps were covered, and around 5 cars went out of course!! Meaning, those cars were out even b4 10% of the race..
..
The interesting bit comes in during the second last LAP>> Ferrari was overtook by McLaren around the bent at the very crutical moment!!

Ferrari was very "bu shuang" at the end, even during the Trophy giving ceremony because McLaren bumped his car during the overtook..But too bad. Champion is still the champion. He didnt give a dam to the runner-up!!

haha.

And guess what? They were once from the same team..Now rival..

The whole race lasted more than 2hours, excluding the half an hour delay due to the stupid rain.

For the first time i feel like cursing..
School and work are both giving me so much problems..
Already I am not studying in a place I love most, and already my work is not easy, Yet they still give me problems!! Not as if my parents will know what to do when I tell them my problem lor..
They will just say,"Oh, then how? What are you going to do?"
When, I should be the one asking them, "What do you think I shld do?"..

I am not blaming them cos they are afterall not very well-educated. And i am the one handling my own problems ever since young. they never once interfere with my life.
But i just dont like it when people doesnt have their own opinion..
That is the thing about Singaporeans.
No one likes to really voice out what they are not happy about.. Let alone their very own opinions.

I wouldnt have stopped my passion for running and end up like a fat pig here..
I could have bought a flute and further my passion for music.
I have alot of passion which I couldnt fulfill without money.. Really.

Yesterday, i treated my mum to sushi buffet at Sakae Sushi. For the first time, she had a sushi buffet..
And it has been long to see her stomach so full. haha..
Though it cost me $39.44, but to see that we had a fun time there,

Today i am supposed to start work at 630am, bcos i changed shift with tasha..
But when I reached work, arrival IC says i have to stick to my original shift which is 5pm.
For the first time, they dont approve the changing of shift.
Cos apparently, this fren of mine always no-show.. If we change, there wont b any staff in the afternoon..
I call GMP, no one picked up the phone. I sms, no one replied. Ofiice not open yet.
I wanted to talked to my collegues/frens, but they very busy rushing to do flights le. I can understand..
Poor me, have to go home and go to work later..I am already very tired le cos yesterday i reached home at 1am after kbox. Missed my last bus too.
Thought today i can do OT to coverup my cost lor..
SIGH>> the worse thing is that this morning, even the bus driver doesnt know how to come to my house to fetch me to work!! n i has to tell her turn right or left to fetch another person!!

i dont like the people.
i dont like the transport.
If i were to stay back, i will miss the transport. like that day.. i have to take a cab back.
And time just passes very slowly until i cant take it!!!
Compare to morning, it's very different.

I will never forget the 29 UMs (unaccompanied minders) on 19 May 2007, connecting flights to incheon mainly.

They are a Band from korea!!! So cute.. They are just 10 to 14 yrs old..

Some were holding on to flutes!!

At that point in time, i just felt like fainting at the sight of them..

Moreover, the little guys are so handsome!!! Small yet handsome..

Korean hairstyle is just so unique that makes them look so good!!! I wonder if those are original hairstyle..They are just kids lor!!!

Was going MI the whole day..
my legs have been standing for close to 14 hrs already..
Tired leh!!

Tmr is mother's day!!
I have plans for my dear mummy, but not for tmr la. I've got to work..
I'm treating her to sushi buffet cos she hasnt gone for it before and i know she would want to!
hee, but tmr is weekend, so have to postpone to tue which is my off day..
Then i'll treat her for a 100 bucks shopping!!
Well, you might say not enough, or say i stingy..
But you must understand that my mum hardly even goes out for shopping..
She hardly has any new clothes or clothes of her own..
Plus i would want her to get some good beauty products to bao yang..
My mum is pretty one lor, just that she has nothing to help bao yang her face..

Sick people everywhere

Mind you, the sick i am refering to, is the normal kind of sick.
The kind of sick which invloves white blood cells and more platelets, blood and money..

Recently, I have known so many people falling ill.
Ill, not just common flu and headahes or stomachache,
but ill to the extend of hopitalize..

firstly, my friend cum collegue's grandma.
According to sharon, her grandma is in hospital and her situation is very serious.
Unconscious, i think..
Hope she gets well and sharon back to work real soon!!

Secondly, my same age cousin just had high fever yesterday. No amount of panadol is helping him to get well..
Oh dear..

Now, my very own grandmother, whom i called 'po po'.. She lives just opposite of mine.
Yesterday went i got home, she was at my house and many of her children were here to see her..
Why?
Yesterday, my mum and uncle (grandma's so-called eldest son) brought her to hospital because she is very weak and kept saying got back ache and could hardly stand by herself..

Dam to singapore general hospital,
they said no more beds for my grandmother!!!!! Please come back tomorrow to get admitted.
My my,,
Can like that one meh?? My popo can hardly walk leh.. And you know how far is the journey not?

Well, what exactly happens is that my popo, according to the doctor, has not enough blood and thus have to get blood donors to give her more blood every now and then.

Good news is that, the doctor said her heart is still very strong, maybe even stronger than you and me here.. And her blood type is O. So not much problem in getting blood for her.

Yesterday at my house, I saw her so fail and still not eating much cos no appetite..
When she walked, se sometimes seems like she is going to fall backwards.
She usually dont slouch when she sits on the sofa, but yesterday, for the first time, she rested her head on her fists..
Her eyes can hardly see the television.
This morning, my mother even had to bathe her..

My heart aches..

She suffered so much for more than half of her life for the family..
She received ZERO education because her mom thought that girls shoudl stay at home and do housework instead.
Popo repeated a million times to me that her mum is unfair in not letting her to go to school, and I am very lucky to go school.

I know and I am grateful for that.

Many a times I told popo I am going to teach her how to write alhapabets and numbers, but she just say she is too old to learn and decline, again and again..
No choice..

I am always scared that she is lonely,
so whenever she comes over my house to stay overnight, I would talk to her, in my broken hakka..
She doesnt speak mandarin nor english nor malay..
She cant read or write..
There are no fields here for to plant or grow plants and flowers..
I just listened to her..

Her life is tough..
She had many many kids..
The eldest, ran away from home..And even my mum has no impression of him at all..
One or two of them, died of diseases..
One or two of them, She gave them away because no money to raise them up.
Mu mum said she saw her cried at night before..

How many people experienced world war 2?
My grandmother did!! And my grandfather also died in it.. But he is smart to escape the japanese..

My heart really aches now..
Believe it or not,
I am crying now:)

List of new discoveries abt airport

After working in the airport for like a month already, here are some of the weird, funny, not-very-known things and facts i discover..

1. Next time if u are travelling overseas, go pretend to be disable. Like limp abit here and there. Go request for a wheelchair.. It's absolutely FREE!!!!!!!!!

2. OUr rival, malaysia airlines, has a clear record!!! Even singapore airlines and places like Zurich have aircarft acident before.. Sigh, why like that.. Singapore must win them!!!

3. Kampong people loves to bring plastic bags..MANY MANY many plastic bags.. Well they are rather smart actually. They dont have and cant pay for excess baggages.
Let me give you a tip, if you want to save money on excess baggage, do not bring it with you when you check-in. Just leave them aside with someone else.
Then when you go for boarding, bring it along.. They will tag ur bag on the spot and once again, it TOTALLY FREE...

Either that, you bring more plastic bags lor..

4. I realise certain pessengers that is nearby singapore (you-know-where), is very troublesome.
At first they wont show up at the gate.
But when the gate is closing, all will turn up and the poor me has to do things superly fast..

5. People from which aaron comes from.. They like to ask the obvious.
They can ask you which is the gate, when they are already standing in front of it..
If one comes to ask you anything, all the others will come.

6. There are some passengers who will suddenly kneel down on the floor with a big group and pray to allah, or to which ever god they believe in..
Well, ... ... it can be shocking la. But this is the way it is.

7. Recently, 2 major incident happened.
--- Bollywood movie pop star couples were going to board aircraft but the flight was
delayed. So my frens who are doing that flight and some other busybody people
were inside the gate woth them for more than an hour.. Well i heard they look good.

--- An 88 yr od man died on the plane. Peacefully i think..haha can be a good thing cos he is like so near to heaven.. Bless him..

8. People like to complain.

9. Japanese and Australian passengers were so far the most polite people around. You smile at them, they greet you back. You made a small mistake, they just laugh about like and forgive you..

10. I am taller than some air stewardess..

12. The job of cabin crew is tough, though they earn alot. After workiing woth them , i think they deserve to earn that much..
Like for air stewardess, the just have to be everything. A nurse, a love consultant, a waitress, an admin girl, an usher, a model, a newspaper delivery girl, a bellboy and also one who smile hell alot..
If you are on a continuous flight for like 3 - 4 days, you only get a day rest.. 5 days like that, u get 2 days rest. Mind you..they have no way they can clouch or sit or sleep on the plane..Can even rub their eyes cos they have make-ups on..
Well, what will you do if a passenger suddenly dies?
I have met a person who just went unconscious because something heavy fell onto her head.
Not an easy job lor..
many ppl dont like the job actually..

She almost shouted "wow".. To her, it's like the highest floor anyone could stay..

Hello..
It has been long since i last blog. Have to dust my blog first ah..hehe

Well, I have finished my training and just started work. Official start of work.
Haha in the other words,
It means more MONEY is coming in!!

So far everything is ok.
Getting scolded by officier is part and parcel of work, esp when you are new at work.
1 terrible mistake tat i made is...
I actually fell asleep and missed one flight that i was supposed to do!!
MY My..
By the time i woke up, It's like 10mins to departure of the flight already!!
I got scolded obviously and was told to see my officier after that.

Luckily enough, i did flight with my officier before and he knows my character.
He knows that I am always punctual for my flights but just that this time round is exceptional.
That's how I survived.
My officier is actually quite a nice guy..He looks fierce when he not smiling, but when he smiles ah,
Oh man.. So charming lah!! Too bad he is married le.
Too charming for his age le.

Other than that, so far so good. Most people are nice..

And i strongly Highlight the word MOST>...

Terrible Experience. Nothing can be too far worse than this..

1 passenger got hot by heavy object and went unconscious for awhile.

I immediately call for wheelchair and wheeled her to Clinic for medical assistance.
She kept crying and shouting and wanting to see the manager right away.

I tried to consol her, but she kept screaming like nobody's business. I had so much pressure.

Doctor came only after 20 min. Wonder why so long huh? I almost fainted amist the passengers screams and cries.

My friend cum collegue got humiliated my someone from the office. She came crying to me. We both went to the restroom and almost collapse..
We were both helpless..Nothing seems to go right and cant seem to get anyone for help.
We have tried everything we could.

Come on, we are both new and totally lost at how to control the situation!!

In this job of mine, I knew very well that anything that happens to the flight, will be our fault. Becuase we are supposedly the in-charge of it..

This is the first time I know what is stress..Never in my life i know how it feels to be stressed up. I thought I can handle.. I always thought so..
(But then again, I will not be christian just because something unhappy happens to me. I will handle it by myself. I will depend on myself..)

Worse still, manager took another 40mins to come to my rescue!!
Imagine a patient crying and screaming at you and wants to complain you for taking so long for asking the neccessary people to come, for one whole hour??!!!??!!

Really lost and stresses up, you know..

In the end, we had to write a report. DM was nice to us.
Even the toilet auntie is nicer than many people. She certainly deserve a higher position..

Well, everything is ok now. I shall be stronger//

Today was a terrible day. Morning, to be exact..
Sigh what a way to start of a day at work..

I nearly cried.

Ok. I did teared a little. I went to the toilet to let my anger out before my next flight.
To my friends, I am sorry.
My face was abit BLACK today.
Someone spoilt my day, i am sorry. You know who.
I didnt want to talk about it cos
i think i can control myself and be tolerant.
But the fact is,
I know i cant control myself.
Once I talked to you, my tears will be out.
I dont want to cry in the office lo..
Of course my dear collegues, I can see some of you had a bad day doing flights today too.
My face looked expressionless,
But i am not ignornant about your feelings.

So what if you are senior?
3 person were scheduled to do the flight, but i was the one preparing the documents.
U didnt tell me to it, but it's 10mins to the next flight!!

Going Solo

Today my first day Solo.
Solo meaning under studies at the workplace, but without mentor.
So basically,
I do arrivals all by myself.
The only difference of this and actual working is that when i make a mistake or dont know something, I can just say I am new. Or it's my first day going solo.

First day of OJT

Episode 10, 3/7. Xiuyi is going mad that he is turning gay.

Today, I had OJT-- On Job Training. Starting At 4pm.

Before that, I met Leo at the airport. Leo was going back to HongKong FOR GOOD! At first I could not make it in time to send him off because he's at Terminal 1 and going in at 345, but i'm starting work at 4pm but at T2..
But little did i expect myself to meet him at terminal 2. haha i guess he's late for check-in, cos he seems like rushing then.
Since both of us were rushing, there were only "hey" and "bye".
I forgot what i want to say to him, to someone not coming back to singapore soon.
Well, take care leo! We'll miss you!
ha, and Stay cute!!

Back to OJT..
It meant that I had to follow my mentor around like her shadow.
Following her normal duty routine..
We only did arrival, since that's the only part i've learnt so far from my 1 week's training.
Will go back for departure training after OJT.

Now for the interesting bit.
I WENT INTO THE AIRCRAFT.. TWICE!!
The first time during my work, i stepped a foot into the airplane just to Kpo, but the second time, i went into the plane and almost walked down the aisle..
Cool.
And I ate the ICE CREAM from Singapore Airplane!!!
Nice.
I talked alot to the air stewardess whole signing the documents during Arrival. I can't believe how much we actually talked within that 3min at the aerobridge!!
Sweet.

So far, not much to complain about.
Except for the 30 over boarding passes to give out for Silkair Airline...
And 19 wheelchair cases to attend to on another flight..
Luckily me and mentor had more people to help out.. If not,
I'll faint before my mentor - Azean. (oops i forgot to mention her name eariler).

Yea, i indeed learn alot.. OJT is not so bad so far..
I would say this job is better than air stewardess, which has to stay in the air for long hoursm which will cause brain damage over long period of time, and has to wear tight clothings, and have to work above the earth, against gravity.
Hmm but if they offer me the job, i might consider.
haha..

I will not say i dont know. But i have not confirmed..

Even my parents did not ask ever since the first time they did, after results were out.

I know failing english is bad.

I wil not cry cos I fail an exam. U think it's worth crying cos of a piece of paper? come on lah..

My tears are for my family and friends, my love ones and myself.
And for the needy and sick. Only.
And maybe when i watched tv. hehe..

Friday! The day of the month.
hmm shouldnt the day of the month be CNY??

I did OK. As in better than what I expects. Though not exactly better than my expectations.
Don't ask me what subjects get what kind of grades. All i know is 'ABC'.
I didnt see which is for which..

Today in school, I see people panicking (how do u spell? sorry ah, my eng did make it) for results. Results, as in exams, are kind-of important in Singapore, but they arent everything!
U did your best, everything is fine.
It doesnt matter what kinds of grades you get.
It's fine, if it's your best.

If you are like me, who does not exactly do my best, and who did not even feel excited or nervous getting back my A level results,
Then, something is wrong.
Because, for once in exams, i did not do my best. I know I can do better, but of course my brain is limited. I wont be scoring like those who stood up in the auditorium, even if I mug hard..

Maybe 5 yrs ago, i'll regret not mugging hard. Or maybe i should say, i will for sure mug for all examinations.
Like typical singaporean.
But somehow i dont regret not mugging hard now.. Which is supposed to be the way i should be reacting!! Now that I get this kind of results.

What i know is, I know what I am doing and at the very least, I have a direction now.
I want to show that I can survive without going by the straight route. At least i hope to show..
Stupid huh, Shing doesnt want to go the direct way..

To my dear partner (whom i dont think you'll read this), it is to you that you have change my mindset about life. Your philosophy, the words you told me. Though those were normal conversation, You changed me, a better me. Thank you so much!!

Well, nothing much to blog about recently.

Or rather i should say, too lazy to blog..

I am starting work next week. Though it's rather lowly paid, but I am excited about it.

What I am afraid is the 1 year contract that I signed..

Even though there's no penalty if i backed out after 6 months, which is in aug,

i am still scared..

If job is superly nice, I might even think of delaying my studies to another year.

Sigh, studying is getting more and more boring to me now..

oh well..

Hee, at least for now, I can show off my airport pass to everyone!! I just got it yesterday lo.

Having the airport pass means that I can access all the areas in the airport, after the check-in area freely!! Cool huh..

I just felt a strong sense of accomplishment after passing 2 rounds of interviews. One of them being an one-to-one interview, and the other is the group interview..

Not easy leh.

At least for now, I have made a few friends even before I start work.

But you know what, some of them are younger then me!!

Sigh, why didnt i got to work when i was in secondary school? well, except for the job attachments in childcare centre..

I have friends who are much younger, (prettier) and also have alot alot of work experience.

And they dont depend on their parents for money!!

They look lian and beng, but are independent.

Dont judge a book by it's cover!!

Sigh, I feel so lousy..

1st concert in Year 2007

Well, i am too lazy (Pig year coming..) and too busy to even blog about a big event i went to last week.

I went to NUS cultural centre to watch this concert cum competition, called Chinese Singing and song writing competition.

The judges are all 'dua pai' and the hosts were from 100.3FM.

The guests were of course no small figures too.

Other than the rock band and the female singer from VI music called michelle,

you-know-who also performed a few songs.

Pity he didnt performed jay's songs.. and pity he didnt bring along his guitar.

I thought he would bring his guitar along because the concert is all live performance.

But nevertheless, he sang well and full of 'feel'!!!

haha.

My hands just couldnt stablelise when he came out lor..

I just could help laughing at the part when we screamed for him in the midst of an interview with another singer..

Opps..Sorry.

Sigh.. I am missing class outing again!

Well, i quitted my job last Thursday, after mere 4 days of work.

Reason?

I didnt want to sign the contract.

The contract was really demanding. Well, i couldnt write the exact words here, but this is roughly what it says in the last paragraph of the contract:

"Once no longer an employee in the company, I am not allowed to work in any companies that uses _____ (our) software."

Note that this software is almost essential in all firms and for most businesses to carry out.

And note that the contract did not state I couldnt work in those companies within how many years after I leave my job.

What if it's for a life-time?

Well, that's a bad thing for being an admin who does all the confidential documents.

Either you stay there a life-time, or you quit.

For me, i quit.

My friends are quite supportive of me doing it. And i think i did the right thing.

One thing I am very happy is that I made great friends there. Thanks for making my time there really fun. It was indeed fun when the boss isnt around. shhh..

I went in to see the restaurant with WJ. The food are not super expensive, at least for rain himself, but definitely not cheap either. At least S$20 per meal.. I just love the strong korean food smell when I walked into the restaurant. The kimchi smell.. Hmm pity there are no photos of Rain displayed. haha..

haha Just as I quit the job, I got a call for another job interview i applied for 1 month ago. Well, that's a pretty good news for me.

Still no job found.. My previous job? Don't know when are the shops even ready to operate. Hopefully i can get a good-paying job before they got to me.

My expectations not very high ma, why is it so hard to find.

I even gave in to admin job lor..

Slowly find, that's what many people say.

But do you know how much i need money now?

Not that i am money-minded.

But i am already digging coins from a 101% filled small little piggy bank that i have kept for many years. Well, i saved those coins ever since I was in Primary school, but never want to put them in the bank or use it cos i just want it to stay full.

But now i am desperate.

But i am glad things got better just now while i was typing this.

Just better. Doesnt mean good or anything.

For now, i shall look forward to going out with dear this sunday.. And shall shop for someone's birthday present. Quite reluctant to buy, but it is my habit to not forget someone's birthday, esp those close to me.

Today is great..

I had sushi dinner buffet today and spent $25 bucks. Oh no.. i am going to feel guilty again!!!

Me, cheryl and winnie finally meet up today, after such long years.

I sometimes wondered how come we are so close, though we hardly even talk or hang out back in crescent. We were from different clicks and sat rather far away.. haha..

But MUSIC bonded us still..

Well, we ate really full and very satisfied. haah i think i can last till lunch tmr..No kidding.

First unintended art piece of year 2007..

Hi, i was supposed to be re-painting my clay figury doraemon (which i painted on cruise almost exactly 10 years ago, horribly) yesterday.

But sadly, i did not have the right shade of blue.

The most useful paints i have are only a bottle of light blue and a tube of black of different brands.

Too, sadly, i cant seem to get the right shade!!

And surprisingly, it turned out to look a little like dark green or green-blue.

So then i've decided to scribble (do i say scibble for a paint brush??) some rubbish,

since that unwanted colour that i've mixed is quite a bit.

No wasting..

So this is what i have done with only a bottle and a tube of paints. Within 10 min, and i threw it away within 5 mins after i've completed it..

Though quite embarrassed to show to others, but i still find it funny..

But no laughing out loud.

Today is my grandmother's 80th birthday and we had a wonderful celebration at a restaurant, the greatest one ever.

We invited her siblings and relatives from Malaysia as well.

The celebrations started with a video on touch, which i'm suppose to do, then followed by food.

The food was ok,

but it'll be better with LESSER mushrooms..

Almost every other dish has at least 20 stalks of mushrooms. haha.

Not fogetting the 'buddha jump over the wall".

hmmm maybe i'm not used to good food,

I think the best part of the day is seeing family members and relatives from many different places all come together..

I think today's event really bond us together and make me realise how precious life is and also how important is it for us to foster family bonds.

spending a total of $474 sing dollars.

474 bucks!!

I'm not sure if this is alot to them cos more than half of them are already working.
But to me,

there're a whole lot of things i can do with that amount lah!!

Well, of course..

They ordered 6 jars of beer, near 14 drinks, fruits, snacks ...

hehe my cousins are smart,

they demanded firmly for 14 KTV coupons, when we were only given a few initially.

And more free mugs,

Well, i've been training for this for the past one or two weeks.

Some told me it's not worth my time to learn cos i'm not even paid.

True.

But does it mean i should quit now?

Should i give up and go look for an office work that can give me more money?

All these while,

I kept telling myself not to go for money, but the experience n what i can learn from it..

Process is more impt than the end product..

I kept insisting on following this principle.

But some say this is not worth it.

woah..i am so busy nowadays that i'm hardly even at home.

Busy yet happy..

Anything can be better than A levels lor..

Now, there's a million things i want to do in my life now!!

I would have to sort it out later..

Too many things cramp together le.

But first, i need to get a job, get money first.

If not, spending so much money will only make me guilty n feel sorry to my family..

Life is tough.

I havent got any fish n seafood in my meals these few weeks..

After 18 long yet not very long years,

finally the day we all have been waiting for has come!!

No more school,

The cake was great! But i cant eat la. No appetite at all..

We announced the karaoke winner and gane out trophies.

haha the funniest thing he said was:

" Win this competition is better than winning superstar competition lor. At least they got trouphies and present, i don't even have one Trophy.. Not fair de lor.. haha"

Cute la.

Well i gave him my present. really hope he likes it..

But sad thing is that everyone can talk to him for hardly a sentence..

I went to register for the superstar audition.

Surprisingly, there are much lesser people than that of the male audition. much lesser.

Then i realise,

the 'zhi zuo dan wei' were quite 'zhao gu' the females.

Don't want us the stand too long under the sun.

Well, but i guess the actual reason is because if the queue is long, people might faint and create more trouble for them, and also the queue might disrupt the business of the nearby shops and just looked unpleasant lo..

hee but i guess i'll stick to the first reason and let me assume that the superstar crews are sweet people for now..

Later i show you they are actually not quite..

haha so then,

i queued up for a minute,

take the number tag,

and can leave actually, but i stayed to watch the so-called concert..

My friend and my friends' friend wanted to see how weilian de shi li when he sings live ma..

but i am quite surprised they have never ever see him singing live before,

which he always do and is more often than not, gou power..

Too bad he sang 2 oldies lor.. Too bad for my friends..

Hai why must he sing sth different from usual just as my frens want to watch him for the first time in their life lor. hmph..

i thought i'm going blind.

as in on my right eye only.

i imagine how life would be if i really cant see.

knowing braille,

knowing someone who is blind,

learning how to use your ears more than eyes is one thing.

BUT,

it's more about,

trying to let go of the things in hand.

learn to accept the fate.

It wont be easy to give up on your dreams and choose a different path of life at this point in time, when you are almost completing the education,

at 18 years old.

I think,

it would be much better if one is visually impaired right from the start of your life!

Only then,

you got nothing to lose.

Because, you didnt start your life with colours and beautiful memories when you were first born.

haha.

now,

i've learnt to really treasure the present.

Do what i need to do and no regrets.

Any dragging of time, may leave me with regrets.

SO,

take care of your eyes and treasure your time well, people..

It's good to close you eyes to feel things that you have never experience before.

But to stya permenantly blind,

it may not be a good thing afterall.

Especially you have a dream like me.

Thanks to everyone, especially blue angels,

who came down to support wl and all.

Thanks to the superstars, both child and adults, and the judges and chairperson who came down yesterday. If you are looking at this messgae, a big thank you to you. I'm sure weilian will appreciate it very much. Hope you all have enjoyed yourselves too..

Well, personally, i like the opening and the ending of the concert,

which are more often than not, the high points of the any concert.

I think it's very innovative to start off with weilian so high up on stage, belted tightly onto the flying seat.

My eyes have tears but i wiped it off before it even rolled down.

i'm not sad that the concert was coming to an end cos i did enjoyed every bit of the concert. Instead, i was touched and i feel for him. I think the video before he sang tong hua, really made an impact on almost everyone.

by the fact that he said it'll be his last time singing the song cos people had been saying that he cannot sing the song as he is not the original singer.

i wanted to say 'it's not true', but i'm already tearing liao lah.

i think people are just jealous

that he can potray the song so well and brings out the feel of the song to the maximum. maybe better than the original singer.

but why cant he sing, i somehow don't get it. he did acknowledge the original singer and composers too. ( he even named them..)

oh well, all these are subjected to comments and people all think differently.

he will have his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th albums..

Can hit zhou hau jian 19 albums record de. I'm sure he can do this. He has already gave a great start-up le.

Also i love the 'liao jie'..

i think that's really the best that he sang it so far. Really improve alot. 'Dan tian de li' is super strong. Very powerful vocal!!

i think it's a good end-off to performing this song..oh man, i feel like tearing again.

As for the costumes,

I like the little shining guitar pinned onto his jacket in his first costume. .nicely.

haha then the white shirt he wore when playying woth jinfa,

it's totally handsome.

i think most of us would agree that wl looks the best when he sat down on the steps during the first half of the performance..

His last costume reminds me for the grand finals. Don't know if it's the same one though. But it's a nice outfit.. i think the colour suits him for formal occasion.

well i think the details of the concert had already been mentioned.So i think i'll give my summary of what i saw off stage.

Kelly was seated right at the end of the row, followed by weicong weijian and others..

Ever since the begining of the concert, kelly's hand was held so closely to her neck and listen so attentively to wl. Kelly is like feeling for nervous for wl and all. it's understandable cos she had shared the stage with wl for many times and i certainly think she can feel what he felt on stage. Wei cong was singing with wl most of the time.

you must really see how their eyes sparkled when wl hit the highest point or not of the song..

Then at the end of the concert, wei cong is very cute.

He picked up the silvery ribbons on the floor and started swaying it into the air like little children like that..

haha in the middle of the concert, the superstars also took out their handphones and swayed them high up too. cos the hp have lights too. hmmm creative lo.. hahahmm what's with weicong putting his hand over kelly's seat ah.. haha no offence lo.

Don't worry kelly, wl did his best that night.

it was a great performance.

Every song is hitting like his personal best. even with mistakes here and there, his sense of laughter filled in the holes. cool.

haha the funniest part is this.

In the first segment of the concert when wl was walking to the left and right, kelly was down there waving so high up, vigorously and continuously, to wl, with jason by his side.

but too bad he didnt catch kelly until towards the end of the song, where he introduces the superstars.That's very cute of her. She was laughing like mad when jason FINALLY saw her. cute la.

**NOt many people can actually hold a concert without have to dance or have simple outfits.

and not many can survive without dancers on stage.

But, weilian did it.

However, it would be perfect if he did play piano that night. But it's really a commentable effort by him to learn songs of so many languages within a short period of time already. thai especially.

And he DID improved alot.

I overheard 'fang zhong hua' said on the way to the exit..

He said something about they chose him as a superstar because they're alot of things he can do but many others can. And he said something like they didnt make the wrong choicen in choosing him as the champion,

because there are many thing wl have in him that others don't.

Nevertheless, guitar is good enough a 'wife' to wl le..

They make a great pair, don't they?

I know wl don't really like this statement, but i must say it one more time.

Woah, NUS is sure a big place, not bad, except that you even have to take a bus from one faculty to another.

SMU is also good in the sense that the arhitecture is much prettier. hmm but i think i prefer NUS.

But what should i study?

It remains a big question.

Let me do some elimination of the courses..

Medical

Law

Economics.

These seems to be more practical degrees, much somehow i dont see my future in these areas.

Should I even be in A level at all?

Look at all the muggers and brainies around me..

What am i?

I cannot never seem to be able to do what i want in my life at all..

It's all about money

But i will prove that wrong.. Practice makes perfect, isn't it?

Well, I went for MC for open house after NUS that day..

Woah, calvina, tony and some others sang.. tony can really sing lah.

In fact i think he sang much nicer than WeiCong ( a superstar contestant).

But i think he is comparative to the normal people like us.

He can really speak! I was quite stunned because, as what weilian claimed as well, We have never hear him gave sucha long and interesting, yet steady speech!

There're no awkward moments at all and it was a quite enriching talk by jason!!

Well, my darling did well too. Though he spoke only a little,

i think most of the audience cannot deny that he is good.

He is sure entertaining.

Even in his first sentence, he had set most of the audience smiling already.

I went to work as waitress.
